Histoire - Who we are

Histoire is a company founded in order to provide a comprehensive digital resource for the New Australian National Curriculum. Our aim is to provide up to date and well researched resources for Australian history students and teachers.

Peter Ricketson

(PhD, M Litt, BA, Dip Ed)

Peter Ricketson was Principal of Bulli High School NSW from 1998 – 2005 and has taught high school history for over 30 years. Peter has also taught History and Politics subjects to undergraduates, English Method to Dip. Ed. students and a variety of Education courses to Postgraduate students at Wollongong University.

John Guilly

(M Litt, BA, Dip Ed, B Soc Sc)

John Guilly has taught History, Senior Modern History and Ancient History in a number of high schools for 40 years and was Head of History at The Jannali High School in Sydney for 14 years.

Pamela Ricketson

(M Ed, BA(Hons), Dip Ed)

Pamela Ricketson has had over 30 years experience in teaching History and English in NSW High Schools and was Head Teacher English for 8 years. Pamela has also taught English Method for 8 years to Dip.Ed. students at Wollongong University.
